For the past three years the BBB Executive Committee has donated a Shrimp Boil for the Annual Auction. This year Greg Shaheen, of Ferris Consulting, had the winning bid for the Shrimp Boil and he donated it to the Ben Richey Boys Ranch.
On August 16th we went to the Boys Ranch pavilion and cooked. If you are wondering whether the kids would like a shrimp boil – let me set your mind at ease, they loved it. I believe we could have had more food. There was only one small piece of a potato left at the end of the night. I am glad to say the kids ate a lot!
So thanks to the efforts of Gary Grubbs, Peggy & Royce Manning, Karen & Brian Massey, Cheryl Merritt, JR Nelson, and Steve & Nancy Abel the Shrimp Boil was a success and everybody had a good time.
